To get an idea what children think about love, friendship and other values of our world I reviewed some of my friends' children (about 4-7 years old). I also made some research on internet to have a bit more quotes to choose from.
Below I present the result of my enjoyable work:
LOVE
I know my big sister loves my, because every time I steal a cookie from her lunch box, she's never angry with me.
Love is what makes you smile when you are tired.
Love is when mummy gives daddy the best piece of chicken.
Although my heart is still so small. love makes it big enough to hold there all my loved ones.
Love is when I wash up a platte for my grandma, when she's too old to do it by herself.
FRIENDSHIP
When you are sick, friends can sometimes be a better medicine than the kind the doctor gives you.
Only your real friends will tell you when your face is dirty.
Friend is like my night light in the dark room.
Friend makes me smile all over my face.
You know someone is your friend, if they give you more than half of their candy bar.
SHARING
Sharing your favourite toys means sharing part of your world with someone.
Getting married means sharing your toys.
When I share my toys I always get a smile back.
LONGING
Longing is very long, but then someone is found and there is no longing any more.
Longing is when you can't wait to hug someone.
GROWN UPS
Adults life is very hard. They have to work and there is always someone who sweats.
I watch my mum making a sandwich, to know how to make one when she's already gone.
Old person is wrinkly and walks like a duck, but this kind of duck is to be loved too.
The best place to be when you're sad is in your grandma's lap.
TOYS
You can travel inside a book.
You are never too old for a teddy bear.
One birthday is worth 10 normal days.
A child is a fun expert (specialist).
OTHERS
An optimist is someone who expects all the crayons to be in the box.
Don't burn your bridges, because there might be crocodiles in the river.
If you're feeling blue, try to paint yourself a different colour.
